A signature accessory piece from the ‘Matcha Psycho/Saikō’ collection by Mr. Sabotage, this ‘mini echo tote’ or large kiss-clasp purse features stitched leather work for its oversized handles, top closures, trimming, and base and bottom gussets. The side gusseted body is in sencha green wide welt cotton corduroy, reminiscent of the rows of bushes in the tea fields that inspired this special collection by Mr. Sabotage. Ethnographic photograph by Takeshi Hayakawa, shot onsite during fieldwork with the designer and Gentle Artefacts at Obubu Tea Farms in Wazuka, Kyoto are incorporated as a photo printed, fully lined, textile interior.
