  • Japanese black tea is known as wakoucha (和紅茶) and is made from unique tea cultivars that are often different in character than Chinese or Indian black teas, with a bright, delicate flavor and a hint of natural sweetness.

    It is a rare tea to produce as Japan has a preference to Sencha historically but it has lately seen a revival with an emphasis on quality and characteristics of the land and japanese processing.

  • Savory taste with subtle astringency Underlying notes of molasses.

    A lingering aroma reminiscent of freshly cut watermelon

  • Origin: Wazuka, Kyoto

    Cultivar: Yabukita

    Appearance: Copper - hued liquor

    Process: Withered Rolled, Dried

  • COLD WATER BREW

    Water amount: 1000 cc / 1 L / 4 cups / 34 oz Water temperature: 5–20 ° C / 41–68 ° F Amount of tea leaves: 10 g / 2 tbsp

    1. Place dry tea leaves into pitcher (you can also use a tea strainer or tea bag).

    2. Pour cold water over tea leaves.

    3. Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours or overnight.

    4. Pour into cup and enjoy.
